ABOUT

Singer-Songwriter, Composer, and Performer

In a jazz-folk-pop style, my songs convey what I could not say otherwise …to reflect, to love, to lighten the mood, to make people smile and think, to breathe, and to bring beauty to life.

BIO

Songs that bring beauty to life through the inevitable little chaos of existence!

As a Rivière-du-Loup native, I was raised on nature, salt air, bonfires, and the authenticity of local people! As a young adult, I sang in choirs where I learned the importance of nuance, collaboration, intention, and harmonies — a foundation that enriches my performances to this day.

Since 2021, with Atelier vocal de Montréal, I have been further developing my vocal and writing skills. I've discovered my special gift to integrate humor and self-deprecation into song, and to name life's complexity and little chaotic moments in simple ways. In the summer of 2024, I had the pleasure of participating in the Petite Vallée Song Camp, Singer-Songwriter program. By the fall of 2024, a new project took shape: preparation of a show featuring my original songs. The band Nini & the Jim Tonics was born, a quartet consisting of Vincent Dessureault on double bass, Fred Ferland on guitar, Léo Mainville on drums, and myself, and together we are currently working on my first EP. I can't wait to share my songs with you, both on stage and on social media platforms. In the meantime, to discover excerpts of my journey, visit Nini St-Pierre's YouTube channel, Instagram channel, or Facebook page.

Musically yours!  Nini St-Pierre
